1999 Echézeaux, Grand Cru, Emmanuel Rouget, Burgundy Size:75cl Cooler Orveau and more humidFrom Les Treux, Clos St Denis and Les Cruots. This wine split the audience that is to say everybody was reasonably comfortable with the quality, if not the quality price ratio, yet it was not really singing. It did show the requisite density, though the barrel had not fully integrated with the fruit. For all that the fruit was not in dancing mode, the persistence was undeniably there.
