Georg Baselitz: Imperia Anne Carson a legible schema of interlockingGeorg Baselitz: Imperia features a selection of photographs taken by Elke Baselitz of her husbands painting and sculpture studios in Imperia, Italy. The photographs were taken over a twelve year period, from 2007 to 2019roughly, the artists eighth decade. They capture Georg Baselitzs daily routines, his materials and working methods, the progress of particular works and groups of works, and moments of contemplation seen through Elkes eyes. The
