The reverse side is engraved, Rich. Eyke died July 2nd 1828. This brooch is in very good antique condition and measures 27. 5 x 24. 3 mm. It has a replacement pin catch fixture that was added in antiquity. This item cannot be immersed in liquids because moisture will damage the foil behind the garnets.
