Nag Tibba, meaning ‘Serpent’s Peak’, is the highest peak in the lesser Himalayas of Uttarakhand, standing tall at 3,017 meters. A perfect weekend adventure for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts, this trek offers dense forests, remote villages, rich flora and fauna, and stunning views of Himalayan peaks like Swargarohini, Nanda devi, Bandarpoonch, and Kedarnath.

Itinerary

Day 1Drive to Goat village Via Pantwari Village and trek to Khatiyan

Drive Distance (Dehradun to Goat village): 110 km | Drive Duration: 6 hours approx. | Trek Distance: 2.5 km approx. | Trek Duration: 4-5 hours approx. | Altitude: Khatiyan- 2287 m | GPS DATA 

Early morning drive from Dehradun to Pantwari (approx. 3-4 hours). Continue to Goat Village, a quaint eco-tourism settlement. Start your trek from Goat Village towards Khatiyan campsite (4-5 km, 2-3 hours). Reach Khatiyan, enjoy the serene surroundings, evening tea, and a warm dinner under the stars.

Day 2Trek from Khatian to Nag Tibba Top Descend to Khatian

Trek Distance: 7  km approx. | Trek Duration: 6 hours approx. | Altitude: Nag Tibba – 3003 m | GPS DATA

Wake up early to a fresh mountain morning. Begin trek to Nag Tibba summit (approx. 5 km, 3-4 hours ascent). Witness panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges from the summit. Spend time exploring and capturing the serene landscape. Descend back to the Khatiyan campsite.

Day 3 Khatiyan to Goat village and Drive to Dehradun

Trek Distance: 2.5 km approx. | Trek Duration: 2-3 hours approx. |  Drive Distance (Goat village to Dehradun): 110 km | Drive Duration: 6 hours approx. | Altitude: Dehardun- 600 m |  GPS DATA 

After breakfast, trek back to Goat Village (4-5 km). Drive back to Dehradun (approx. 3-4 hours).

Trip ends with beautiful memories and mountain bliss.

Inclusion

  • Vegetarian Meals throughout the trek. 
  • Forest Permits, Camping Charges, and Trek Permit Fees.
  • All camping Equipment: Tents on twin sharing basis, sleeping bags, mats.

Exclusion

    • All transport from Dehradun to Dehradun is according to the itinerary.
    • Meals during road journeys are not provided.
    • Any expense incurred for personal purposes.
    • Any expense not specified in the inclusion list is not included in the package.
    • We would like to inform you that should you choose to withdraw from the trek, we will be unable to provide reimbursement for any costs related to accommodation or meals.
    • Any kind of Insurance.

Cancellation Policy & Refund Policy

  • Special Cancellation Policy 

       A) We have implemented a special cancellation policy:

  1.  Before 60 Days: 90% Refund.
  2.  31-60 Days: 75% Refund.
  3.  Within 30 Days: 50% Refund.
  4.  Within 14 Days: No Refund.

In case of the advance payment amount:

A booking fee of ₹5,000 is required to confirm your spot. The remaining trek fee must be paid at least 15 days prior to the trek start date. If the full payment is not received on time, your booking may be cancelled. The ₹5,000 booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Our cancellation policy applies to the entire trek fee, not just the booking amount. For any questions or assistance with payment, feel free to contact us.

       B) Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling Within the Same Trip or Changing the Trek.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability. Trek costs may vary depending on the location and will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Guests have the option to reschedule their trek and utilize the amount paid within 1 year.

 

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be issued by mail only and processed within 15 business days from the date of cancellation
  • Unforeseen Changes: In the event of an emergency, we may reroute treks to alternative trails. Mental preparedness for such situations is advised.
  • Documents Required: Trekkers must carry a photocopy of their photo ID, along with mandatory Medical Certificate and Disclaimer forms for trek permissions before and during the trek

FAQ

Do I need any prior experience?

No prior trekking experience is required for the Nag Tibba Trek. It is beginner-friendly, but participants should be reasonably fit and prepared to walk for 6–7 hours a day. We recommend starting basic cardio or endurance training at least one month before the trek. This can include activities like jogging or running for 5 km daily to build stamina and ensure a more enjoyable experience on the trail.

How do I reach Dehraddon?

Dehradun is well-connected by:
  • Train: Overnight trains from Delhi.

  • Bus: Volvo or state buses from Delhi ISBT, Kashmiri Gate.

  • Flight: Direct flights to Jolly Grant Airport, just 25 km from the city.

Once you register, we’ll help you plan your travel to the trek starting point- Pantwari.

 

Will there be mobile network or internet access?

Mobile network is patchy beyond Pantwari, and there is no internet access or signal at the campsite or summit. We suggest informing your family in advance and enjoying the digital detox!

Is the trek safe for solo travellers and women?

Yes, absolutely. Nag Tibba is considered a safe and beginner-friendly trek. Our trained trek leaders and local support staff ensure safety and comfort for solo travellers and women participants.
 

Can children or senior citizens participate?

Children (10+ years) can join with proper fitness and enthusiasm.

Senior citizens can participate if they are in good health and medically cleared for high-altitude trekking.

We recommend consulting a doctor before booking.
