Sure, instant would make it a whole lot better and put any interest left in Terminate to bed but if you really want some instant removal play a Doom Blade or a Lightning Bolt as well, it's not like your ever going to not play the Dreadbore
The card is a fantastic reanimation target for Yuna, Hope of Spira when Omniscience isnt lying around, and can double as a win condition if you do manage to resolve the infamous blue enchantment

We also have card draw tied to our elves dying, like Miara, Thorn of the Glade and others, though I think the only way to actively kill our elves in the deck is Rhys the Exiled, so they're mostly just board wipe protection
