Although its hard to gather, Id be interested to see any other data relating to this, personally I feel like this bubble affected a small number of cards that went bananas (waifus, special arts, etc) while most modern Japanese stayed relatively affordable
It's great in loads of other places too, like Boros Voltron where you give your leader double strike for attacking to kill twice as fast with Commander Damage and then the power boosts from equipment or auras
