To get a mana advantage out of the card you have to pay two life however the strength of the card is not so much that you can be one mana better off than your opponent over an exchange but that you can make the exchange when you have no spare mana

Plus this card can attack twice if a Gadget was used for the summon

Metalfoes Fusion An alternative to the above, since you are discarding cards a lot

Im not currently a fan of any of these options but I havent been playing against the card much either
