Altitude: Bharatpur – 4700 m.
This is a crucial day for adapting to the altitude and preparing your body for the summit. The rest of the day is for rest, hydration, and preparing backpacks for the next day’s climb to Base Camp. Stay warm and avoid unnecessary exertion.
Trek Distance: 5.5 km approx. | Trek Duration: 4-5 hrs approx. | Altitude: Base camp – 5250 m. | GPS DATA
Today’s trail is a steady ascent through rocky patches and moraine sections. The air gets thinner, so the pace remains slow and consistent. This is usually the coldest night of the expedition.
Altitude: Homwas– 5200 m.
Another essential day for controlled acclimatization. After a late breakfast, head out for a practice hike to higher ground to help your body adjust for the summit attempt. Trek leaders will conduct technical gear training, rope practice, and safety briefings. Spend the evening preparing your summit gear and sleeping early. Hydration is key today.
